I curated 2018’s first In The Dark event:
A communal, lights-out listening event celebrating the best in audio storytelling from around the world. Join us for our first Bristol foray of the new year with a carefully curated selection of sound adventures. This time – stories of anarchy, punk & resistance!
Expect to hear podcasts, radio documentaries and dramas that rip up radio form, take narrative risks and go right out there on a limb.
We invite you to close your eyes, listen hard and huddle in the warmth of The Brunswick Club ballroom, a former Working Men’s Club in the heart of Bristol which is occupied by three anarchic artist collectives: BEEF, Champ and Residence.
On the weekend following this, The Brunswick Club will be hosting Women In Punk & No Wave Film & Music – we encourage you to check this out too!
WHEN Thursday 18th Jan, 8pm
WHERE The Brunswick Club ballroom (Accessibility: ramp available for the three steps at the entrance. There are ground floor toilets, but we’re sorry – none is yet adapted)
TICKETS £5 adv or on the door if we have any left – ticket link coming soon!
